Field trip to the Fort Wayne International Airport:
Tuesday, May 25th at 10 a.m. & 12 p.m.     Cost: Free
Register by emailing Heather Rosbrugh at admin@teamhomeschool.net. Email is
preferred to help Heather keep track of participants, but you are welcome to call 437-4515
to register as well. Thank you.
Tour 1: The Emergencies Services Tour: Airport/Rescue/Firefighter Facilities:  
Max 25 people. UPDATE: FULL
The airport has its own emergency services center because of its need to specially train
responders to deal with aviation disasters. Join us as we learn about the emergency
services team at the airport and see their facilities at the Fort Wayne Airport. This tour will
last about 1 ½ hours. Come learn about our Fort Wayne Airport Response team, their
equipment, and careers in their field!
2 Tours at 10 a.m. &  at 12 p.m.: Lt. Paul Baer Terminal Tour:
Max 25 people.  UPDATE: FULL
This group will tour the Fort Wayne International Airport Terminal. This tour will talk about
the airport security team, security cameras and equipment, daily operations at the airport,
and explore the terminal. All those attending this tour need to provide a name and birth
date at least 1 week prior to our trip. All adults will be required to have photo ID. This tour
will last about 1 ½ hours.

FWAHS Used Curriculum Sale/Tuesday, June 8/
Fellowship Missionary Church Gymnasium - Enter at Door A

Free to buyers and sellers
Come and shop among friends! If you have items to sell, bring your used
books and curriculum, a card table, chair, and your own change to do
transactions; then turn your discards into someone else’s treasures.
Please limit your sales to curriculum, books, videos, etc. – no food or
drink sales will be permitted. The doors open for sellers at 8:30 a.m.
to set up their tables, but please do not make sales or purchases until
9 a.m. when the doors open for buyers. No registration is needed. For

Friday, September17th: Field Trip to DeBrand Fine Chocolates
Join us as we tour DeBrand's.  Cost is $3.00 per person which you can put toward a
$10.00 or more purchase should you decide to do so after the tour.  Come learn with us
about how these delicious chocolates are made right here in Ft. Wayne.  RSVP to DeeAnn

availablitly so paying TEAM members will have the first opportunity to sign-up until August

Training for Triumph Cottage Classes in Fort Wayne
Training for Triumph (TFT) offers cottage classes for home schoolers in and around the
Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Cottage classes are essentially “co-op classes” in which the
parents do not teach but rather pay for Training for Triumph teachers to teach. They are to
be additions to what you are already doing in your home school - not in place of your
home school. For upper elementary through high school grades.

BASKETBALL OPPORTUNITY
Fort Wayne's Best "PREP" is a Christ-centered, high-level and competitive league
designed to develop, improve and focus on the spiritual, mental and physical well-being
of males between 15-18 years of age.
Register now through May 1st for just $60. Basketball games are held at Fellowship
Missionary Church on Monday and Friday evenings between 6-11pm. Players will play 2
games per night. League runs from May 3 - May 28, with the draft being held on April 26th
at 6 p.m. Players get a full uniform, a chance to participate in an all-star game, and single-
elimination tournament play.
Players can register at FMC (2536 E. Tillman Rd) or online at www.bestleagues.org. After
May 1st the cost will be $75. For more information/questions, please contact Crane/Tonya

PSAT Registration information:
You or your student should contact a local
public or independent high school. Call the
school's main number and ask to be directed to
whoever handles the PSAT/NMSQT
arrangements. Be sure to do so well in advance
of the mid-October test dates. If the school
seems resistant, you should ask another
school in the area.

Kings Island, Ohio Homeschool Day 2010
Kings Island's Home School Day on Thursday, August 26th!  Join us for a family friendly
