Students will read classics of prose, poetry and plays, as well as learning literary, grammar, and comprehension skills. In addition, writing and analysis skills are emphasized which are so valuable to college-bound students. Invigorating class discussions are a weekly occurrence in this class! This is a perfect choice for anyone interested in SAT preparation, college preparation or AP test preparation. Seniors will have the opportunity to take the AP test for college credit at the end of the school year. Class options include British Literature, American Literature and World Literature. Writing Classes for Junior High and High School Students          Because writing is foundational for all walks of life, writing classes are now available for both Junior High and High School students. Extensive teaching guides students through all phases of writing. Students learn pre-writing, writing styles, and editing skills in these foundational classes. In-depth instruction provides experience writing Persuasive, Descriptive, Expository, Imaginative and Research writing.          Creative Writing is also available for High School students.
